The USCG is searching for a couple who departed the Florida Keys 2/21/2024 on the way to the Bahamas on their 42 foot trawler. The vessels name is the 'Irish Miss' and the two on board were Robert and Vicki Bernhardt. Any information on this vessel please contact the USCG.

A guest at Disney world jumped into the lagoon at Epcot allegedly to win a $6000 bet. He was reportedly banned from Disney world for one year but was not arrested.

Sailboat found for the sailor that went missing competing in race off Ireland
The skipper of a 26 foot sailboat competing in a solo race known as the Jester challenge went missing during the race but his boat has been found but he was not aboard. He left on the 18th of June and was expected to arrive at the finish on June 22nd. It was unclear what conditions he may have been sailing in and when his boat was found his EPIRB (emergency position indicating beacon) had not been activated.

Guy steals live fish out of the water at Bass Pro shop in Florida
A guy is wanted for stealing a live 50 pound Tarpon fish out of an aquarium at the Bass Pro shop in Florida. He walked out of the store with the live fish in a net. The person that posted the video left the store with him and his face is clearly visible so it probably wont be long before he is arrested.

BoatUS Foundation gets $10 Million NOAA Grant for vessel removal
The BoatUS foundation received a grant from NOAA for the removal of derelict and abandoned vessels along the coasts of the US including the Great Lakes. If you have ever driven your boat along the coast and the inter coastal waterways you know this effort is certainly needed. The grant came from the congressional infrastructure bill so it’s good to see some good use of our taxpayer money.

Fishing boat runs aground in Point Pleasant New Jersey
A large commercial fishing vessel ran aground near the Manasquan inlet on Point Pleasant beach. Four people were rescued from the boat and a salvage vessel will come remove it. Check out the YouTube below.
